It was my first (and not the last I hope =) )concert of Muse.May be this is the reason why I liked it so much.
First of all,I didn t know what the fans of Muse are like.I go quite often to the concerts of russian rock groups - there (and I know it) you can see lots of drunk people from 13 to 60,the huge croud in front of the entrance to the arena.
This friday,at the New Arena,I saw something very different. Muse fans were calm,but with eyes shone with joy. I was really surprised: there was a lot of people "over 50" - I didn t think that they can like music like this.
There wasn t many things that I didn t like about the organisation. But 1)the security staff was really unfriendly,even rude. 2)the beer was really expensive =)
As for the performance,it was great. In the background one could see 3 big screens,the video was well chosen. During "Knights of cydonia" and "Map of the problematique" the lyrics of the refrain appeared on the screen at the same time Matt sang,it was very impressive. Another vivid impression - the piano with transparent top.When the stagelights fell on it,it seemed that it was burning.
I think I ll never forget this concert.And let s wait another one =)
